23" Shilen Premium barrel with full-band front sight, Magnaporting, full-band swivel base, recoil lug, hand-matted quarter rib and 1 standing gold-lined express sight.
Fully black-streaked California English walnut stock with ebony forend tip, classic borderless point-pattern checkering wrapping fully under the forend and over the wrist, Grisel steel capped pistol grip, classic comb, beaded cheekpiece, inletted rear swivel, and brown Decelerator recoil pad.
Dakota 76 controlled-feed action with jeweled bolt and follower, 3-panel checkered bolt knob, hinged straddle floorplate with release inside triggerguard. Acanthus scroll engraved and with cape buffalo on floorplate by Marty Rabeno.
Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5x matte-finished scope with fine duplex reticle in Wisner quick-detachable rings on Heilmann custom sculptured bases. Traditional rust blue by Pete Mazur. Pull: 14 3/8". Weight: 10lbs, 4oz. Barrel engraved: Heppler Brothers Classic. Built 1990. Little used.
