BROWNING SA-22 OR SA22 .22LR SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. No serial number anywhere(ive taken the entire rifle down) so must be pre-late 1960's although does have a "Made in Japan" barrel and correct Browning address. Liege proofs on receiver just behind scope dovetail just forward of wood. 19.5" barrel with mint bore and fits perfectly to receiver with excelent crisp threads to takedown portion. Wood is matching and crisp checkering although forend has small hairlin forward of takedown switch(will TLC to nil). Factory bluing and crisp grade 1 engraving at 98% overall. Functions perfectly and appears unused overall from the looks of things. No signs of use to factory wood piano finish. Must of have been some crossover from Belgium made guns with Japanese barrels(correct me if I'm wrong as don’t' recal having ever had one. Nice example tho that needs a wee bit of help to make it appear mint.
