This is the 3rd variation of the Pocket Escort from S&W. These little semi-automatic 22 cal. LR pistols have a 5 round magazine, and pack some punch in the palm of your hand. The Model 61 was only manufactured from 1970-1973. This one being built in 1971, with all the improvments over the original 61 no dash. The Model 61 has a 2 1/8" barrel. This one comes with all the paperwork, zippered gun rug carrying case, an additional mag. and the original 2 piece box, numbered to the gun.
