Here we have an American made Leupold VXIII 6.5-20x variable power scope. Mfg in 1982 this top quality Leupold scope is sharp as a tack and has a lifetime warranty. The scope is gloss black which is very typical of the early 1980s period. The reticle is a target style fine wire with a dot and is in the second focal plane which means the reticle stays the same size as the magnification ring is turned. The scope is in very good physical condition showing only light signs of wear and previous mounting. Both the magnification and parallax rings are smooth.....not loose or too tight. There is a little wear on the front top of the objective end of the scope. The optics are clear and bright. Main tube diameter is 1" and the outside diameter of the front bell is approx 50mm. This would be a fine optic for shooting from the bench. A set of traditional Leupold rings are mounted on the scope and included.
