Presented here is a period Redfield 3-9x40mm gloss black Accu Range scope with straight crosshair, stadia wires, and "tombstone" ranging indicator. The scope has some marks from a previous mounting. The optics are bright, the power ring is tight and smooth, and the glass is still perfect and very sharp. It has the original throw lever on the power ring as well. The main tube diameter measure 1". Made between late 1960s and early 1980s. This would be great glass on a vintage hunting rifle. Ranging reticle is shown in the last image and there are resources on the internet that explain how it works.
