Description:
This is a S&W Second Model S.A. Schofield 45 with SN 8771 but unfortunately it does not have matching numbers. The grips, barrel and cylinder do not match. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight and the bore is near excellent. It still has traces of blue in protected places. The majority of the remaining finish has turned to a plum brown color. All of the marking are very good. This one is tight enough so with proper loads, I personally would not have a concern firing it.
