Description:
Very rare 2nd generation 3rd model Dragoon complete Garabaldi set. Samuel Colt developed a close relationship with Garabaldi, the famous revolutionary leader in South America, which led to a very large arms contact for Colt. Only 106 finished sets were ever completed out of the 200 that Colt intended to produce. The remaining 94 were were unfinished or "left in the white". This set includes the factory letter and paperwork. The gun is unfired and in excellent condition. The case is also excellent. The original glass etched top lid was etched, but broken and has been replaced with the present glass. This is one of the rarest 2nd generation production models made. Shipping costs $35.
