Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 25-2 6" with box, extra cylinder, as accurized by Bowen Classic Arms. All paper work and receipts from Bowen Classic Arms, and also the original Smith and Wesson box, warranty cards, S&W Holster advertisements, Factory Cleaning tools, and wax paper. It doesn't get better than this: A factory 25-2 with all original documentation, in mint condition, with notations of exact modifications from arguably America's finest pistol smith, that will actually SHOOT ACCURATELY. If you have ever fired the stock 25-2, at least in my experience, they are NOT accurate with factory ammunition because the cylinder throats were so large. If you loaded your own ammunition, you could size your bullets to .455 or .457 maybe, and get them to shoot better. Bowen's shop fabricated a new cylinder, (probably via boring out a smaller bore N Frame cylinder) to approximately .452, re-set the barrel cylinder gap, and then regulated the sights. The original cylinder is included. Gun appears literally unfired since the work was performed. As of this time, I don't believe Bowen Classic arms is performing work on S & W Revolvers, only those made by Ruger, but I may be incorrect as to this. Bowen Classic Arms has done much in the way of work for me over the years, and the quality of their work is unsurpassed in my humble opinion. Gun was NOT re-blued, and , again, it appears virtually new. So if you want a 25-2 that is ACCURATE, don't want to search for your brass as you do with a semi-auto, here is your Revolver.
