M-1 Garand styling and features in a miniature version. Ruger's Mini-14 shares more in common with the M1 Garand than does the Ruger Ranch Rifle. This particular rifle was manufactured in Southport and sports a "180" prefix serial number. With other features such as the sights used and grooved barrel with metal clip for retaining the barrel shroud, a rare find indeed. .223 Remington
