This vintage (1978) closet queen Model 70 XTR (Factory designation for deluxe or extra finish) is almost completely free of handling marks or evidence of use. The engine turned bolt shaft is perfect (these wear with use) again supporting that it has not been used or if used, used very little. It INCLUDES the Redfield 3 x 12 x 44 scope and also includes (****) the Boyds Replaceent stock in box. The older gent who owned this gun purchased but did no use the Boyds thumb hole stock. It seems he did not wish to have any hunting marks on the near perfect factory stock and intended to use the thumb hole while hunting).**** Note the Boyds stock is included however it will have to ship sepearately. If the buyer of the rifle and scope wants the Boyds stock ...shipping will be separate for the Boyds stock and will cost an additional $ 40.00 to ship exclusive of the cost to ship the rifle and scope. We are told that he paid $ 200.00 or more for the Boyds stock but do not know this to be fact.
