Excellent condition Marlin 336RC Texan (straight grip, only made 1954-1964), serial number Z24498, made 1964, caliber 35 Remington, blued finish, walnut stocks, gold trigger, solid frame, open sights, shotgun butt with hard rubber Marlin logo butt plate, 20" round barrel that is JM-marked, full magazine, correct white line spacer between butt plate and stock.
Bluing is overall 95%, having a spot of loss just ahead of the fore arm and another where some oxidation was cleaned off the underside of the mag tube. Smooth action with properly working half cock safety. Stocks are in excellent condition with only a couple of light nicks, no splits or cracks and no extra holes. Bore is excellent.
