Winchester Model 64 lever action rifle, scarce 20" barrel carbine version, standard grade, cal 30WCF aka 30-30 Winchester, correct round barrel with ramp front sight, 2/3 magazine, plain walnut stocks, plain pistol grip, shotgun butt with correct checked steel butt plate, correct open rear sight, blued finish, plain trigger, serial number 1096668, made 1935.
Barrel and mag retain 50% original blue with some spots of oxidation due to being stored with bloody or wet fingerprints (looks worse in the pictures due to the flash), not too bad. Excellent bore. Smooth action with properly working half cock safety. Receiver and lever have flaked to a light patina, common of Winchesters of this vintage. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, no extra holes, typical hunting scratches and dings. Left side of receiver factory drilled/tapped/plugged for peep sight. Mag tube is tight with no wobble.
