Description:
Here we have a very nice Winchester (Olin Kodensha) Model 101 over/under shotgun made in Japan and chambered in 20 gauge. The 26.5 inch barrels have 3 inch chambers, ventilated rib, fixed skeet/skeet choke and some high edge wear at the muzzle. The barrel has a few small areas of minor finish blemishes on the left side about an inch from the muzzle. The bores look bright and clean. The receiver has high edge wear on the sides and top. The bottom of the receiver and trigger guard have some moderate wear resulting in finish loss (see photo 13). The attractive stock and forend have some handling, use and storage marks and the grip cap has high edge wear. The butt plate looks to be original as it is correct for the period when the gun was made. This fine Winchester would make a great addition to an existing collection or a strong way to start a new collection.
