This is a High-quality Reproduction 2nd Model Brown Bess 75 Caliber Musket. It is not made in India. It features a Hardened frizzen and throws plenty of good sparks. This Model was called the Short Land Pattern. This would be the correct weapon for a British Infantry impression from the American Revolution. It would also be correct for an American impression as 15,000 of these muskets were captured in 1777 at Saratoga. This model has a 42 inch 75 cal. steel barrel. The lock is marked Tower and has the
crown and G.B.. The barrel is marked with the correct proof marks. It has the correct brass nose cap, butt plate, and other brass parts. Shipping is $45.00 to all states except, Al, HI, CA, OR and WA add $20.00. Money back if not satisfied with the buyer paying the return shipping.
Each Musket is completed at our shop and test-fired with 75 Grains of Pyrodex FF. After test firing, we ship the Flint and Leather keeper with the gun.
