The gun is very solid and tight. And the hammer rotates the 6 chambers smoothly. 80% of the screws show minimal wear. The other 20% are very worn. I would have to say that the engraving is mostly Gone.. The Iron back strap bears the SN.124452. The serial number lists the year of Manufactur to 1863.The Barrel shows several 25+ Dings to the metal where it was either hit or used as a Hammer. Overall the gun has a nice even dark patina. Maybe 15% of the case hardening is there. Consider it 0% when pricing. Thebarrell is stamped Col. Sam Colt New York. U.S. America. Bore and rifiling are strong. Left Grip shows a Partial Cartouche. But for Value call it unmarked. Overall A Honest 1863 Army that must have saw service. The Gun does not wiggle at all and is tight. Shipping is $35.00 to the lower 48. All other states add $10.00.
