Beautiful Filli. Piotti 28 gauge with fabulous wood and signed engraving. Long 14-3/4” Length of Pull to a checkered butt. Great engraving with full case coloring. Toplever inlaid with gold crown. Cased in a Nizzoli leather case with maker’s label and accessories including snap caps and mahogany cleaning rod with attachments. All metal and wood finishes in great condition. Made in 1989 with double triggers, rolled edge trigger guard and manual safety. It’s an upland gunner’s magic wand at 5lb 12oz. Not many 28 gauge Piottis around especially in the condition of this Italian beauty! *** The 27” barrels have auto ejectors and are topped by a raised, solid tapered crosshatched rib. Chambered for 2-3/4” shotshells. The right barrel is bored 0.555 with a constriction of 0.010 for Modified choke. The left barrel is bored 0.554 and has a constriction of 0.015 for Improved Full choke. *** The breathtaking figure on the buttstock is beautifully finished and has crisp checkering. Stock dimensions are 14-3/4” to a checkered butt by 1-3/8” by 2”. Slightly cast-off for the righthand shot. *** This great handling and handsome 28 gauge is a lethal weapon for the experienced wingshooter. Ideal for quail, grouse, woodcock, dove and clays.
