An Early U.S. Military Eagle Head Officers Sword With A Blue & Gold Blade Made by "A.W. Spies" In Very Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The sword has an excellent blade throughout and is marked "A.W. Spies" near the ricasso. The entire blade retains all of its original bright blue, gold gilt, and bright finish on it. It has a fully heavily engraved guard, pommel, and shield with an Eagle & Shield on It. The flutted pearl grip is fine throughout. The original brass scabbard is very nice throughout with fine engraving on it. It has one small ding in the center of it. This Is A Very Fine Example Of An Early 1800's U.S. Military Eagle Head Officers By "A.W. Spies" With a Wonderful Untouched Look To It!
