Offered for your consideration is a Marlin 1893 chambered in .38-55 with vintage Lyman tang rear sight in correct working order and factory front sight post with blank installed in rear slot. The rifles 5 digit serial number gives a manufacturer date of 1894. The rifle has had furniture replaced with very nice figured wood showing good wood to metal fit around tang etc. All metal surfaces show well displaying brown patina. The rifle functions exactly as it should also showing a good bore. This Marlin is in good condition overall and would certainly make a nice addition to any collection.
