The Smith & Wesson Model 581 Distinguished Service Magnum is a no nonsense revolver. Built on Smith & Wesson L Frame it was designed to be fed a steady diet of magnum loads. It features fixed sights that won't hang up when unholstering and full lug barrel that helps tame recoil. The time is good on this revolver but there is some cylinder end shake. This would make a good personal defense revolver. Manufactured 1983. .357 Magnum
