Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 32 WCF caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Barrel and full length mag tube retain nearly all of the original bright blue. Sharp corners and crisp markings. Original sights include a German silver blade front and a sporting rear. Receiver also has most all original blue. Loading gate has bright fire blue. Hammer and lever have generous case colors as well as the crescent rifle buttplate. Walnut stocks are in very good condition and have some nice figure and retain a good amount of original varnish. Complete with copy of a factory letter verifying configuration and that it was manufactured in 1895. This is a beautiful example of a well cared for and hardly used 32-20 caliber Model 1873 rifle.
