Description:
For your consideration is an early Type 3 Perrazzi MX8 trap shotgun chambered in 12ga. This Perrazzi is a lates 60's Ithaca import that still lives in its original Ithaca hard case. The 32" Over Under barrel has a nice blue finish with minimal marks where the forearm locks in. The stock has an adjustable comb and a Perrazi rubber butt pad. The serial number of 45917 is present on the barrell, receiver, and forearm. The only real blemish to not is a spot on the left side of the stock where it appears that some of the gloss finish has lifted. This blemish is barely visable in the photos but needs to be noted. This shotgun has been in my personal collection and I intended to shoot in a trap league with it but plans have changed. In preparation for use I sent the gun to Don Rackley to be gone over and updated. Mr. Rackley was very impressed with the condition of this original MX8. Mr Rackley performed the following services: New Locking Block, New top and bottom firing pins, New firing pin return spring, New Cocking Bar Spring, New Top Lever Spring, New Top Lever Return Trip, and Ultrasonic Cleaned. He measured the bores at 0.724. The bottom barrel choke is 0.032 and the top barrel choke is 0.040. This gun has not been fired since Mr Rackley serviced it. This gun is ready to be put to use!!
