This rare spur trigger with a 3 1/2" barrel with a unique saftey featurewhere the captured firing pin is in the top latch face, which means that the hammer must be at half cock to pull the top latch baxxk and open the barrel Ay fill cock the latch plate with the captured firing pin is locked. Has all it's nickle and very good hard rubber grips.. Barrel has clear markings and the original burgundy box has an end label that states: SMITH'S NEW REVOLVER, 32-100 CALBRE, NICKEL PLATED , RUBBER GRIPS.. An unusual, scarce model in the box,When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
