ONE OF THE FINEST CONDITION MODEL 1901/02 ROLLING BLOCK MUSKETS IN 7MM MAUSER CALIBER I'VE SEEN. Most of these were shipped to Latin/South America where they saw hard service. This example is exceptional in that it retains about all the bright case colors on the receiver, upper and lower tangs and trigger guard! the barrel, butt plate, barrel bands, bayonet lug forend tip, receiver pins and retaining bar, hammer and breech block also retain most of the bright blue with only some edge wear. Excellent stock, handguard and forend with only light handling/storage marks. Cleaning rod intact. Very tight action and excellent bright bore. Sharp Remington address and patent markings on the upper tang (last patent date 1901). It would be hard to find a better example.
