BROWNING CHALLENGER .22 LR AUTO PISTOL, BELGIAN MADE, #116XXXU8, WITH ORIGINAL BROWNING CHALLENGER OWNERS MANUAL, MADE 1968. These are really great "walnut and steel" pistols that would cost a fortune to make again today. The fit and finish is impeccable. This 55 year old Belgian made Browning retains nearly all the factory high polish blue with only a very little touch of edge wear and some minor thinning to the rear sight above the slide. Excellent sharp checkered wrap-around walnut grips, Browning marked magazine, gold trigger, exc. markings, wonderful creep-free crisp target trigger (!) and tight action, 63/4" barrel with bright bore. This one has seen minimal use. Owners Manual with attached warranty-registration card included. Compared to what's being made today, these are a bargain!
