Highest Grade scalloped box lock, Pre-War , 3 piece forend, solid rib, double trigger, hinged front, with a straight grip. Small curve black pad, perfect screws, 95% case colored barrel blued, wood finish. Hinged front trigger. Magnificently English rose and scroll engraving. Highly figured Turkish walnut stock, scale frame for a 28ga, elaborate multi point checkering on buttstock and forend. Side panels are checkered with borderline carving. extremely high quality. Automatic ejector. Very tight lightweight. This is the highest quality Pre-War gun in a small bore configuration that’s actually scaled framed for this gauge. Kirsten locking bolts, 2 ¾” chamber. Scalloped and Rebated frame. Absolutely gorgeous collectors gun.
