Spencer Model 1865 - Serial Number 17881 - 56-50 caliber carbine (please note the error in title that I can't seem to correct - 56-50 is correct). Bore is bright, very good rifling, one small pit, action is tight and works well, sights are good, feed tube is in good conditon with no cracks. 158 years old. Overall in very good condition. 5 rounds of original ammunition. Has been in family. The Boys of '61 by Charles Carleton Coffin, original copyright 1881, also included.
