Description:
Beutiful Gebruder Merkel Model 201 in 20 Gauge. Made in April of 1965, this over and under box lock has ejectors. Metal condition is veru good. Wood is very nice overall with extensive carving. Including after market stock carvings done in Germany in the late 1960's. I judge the wear to be normal wear for a 57 year old 'user.' There are small scratches and dings; but, none penetrate the finish.
Mark Reynolds of Denver, (303) 761-0021, is the authority on Merkel shotguns in the west. He bore-miked the chokes and said they are Light Modified over Skeet.
