The 30 w.c.f. Or 30/30 cartridges is available in about every store even the big sports stores about the only vintage cartridge they seem to handle. Anyway it's got some age to it but still a really decent 120 year old rifle.Bore has good rifling , takes apart easily , has a few scuff marks by the takedown as it seems every takedown I've owned had. They musta used a rock or what ever was handy instead tapping them with a light piece of wood. She shoots fine and cycles like it should . I've a good number of my collection to sell yet just took some time off. These old Marlins are fine rifles , need a back seat to no make . Must remember they were levering 45/70 cartridges and downing Buffalo and the big guy hadn't figured out how to chamber that govt round yet.
