Description:
Very rare early 12ga Grade 5 lifter made in the 32xx serial number range. This gun 30" damascus barrels that, splinter forend, double triggers, extractors. Gun Made with ball grip buttstock and retains its original skeleton buttplate. Gun is very nicely engraved, perhaps by Glahn, as seen in the photos. Gun has original gold shield behind top tang as well.
The gun remains in very nice overall condition. Barrels retain a great deal of their damscus pattern. Action with hints of original case color remaining. Stocks are sound and retain nearly all of a professionally restored finish. Bores are mostly bright and shiny. Gun is just a beautiful example for such an early gun in this high grade.
