Description:
Winchester Model 12 Standard Trap in 12 Gauge. Chambered for 2 3/4-inch shells. Features 30-inch barrel with factory 3 pin new style VR. White target front sight with white mid bead. Fixed full choke. Receiver has duck bill extension & custom jeweled bolt & carrier. Sides of receiver have beautifully executed unsigned engraving done in the factory prewar Pigeon Grade style. Right side features woodland scene featuring 2 flushing partridge & 2 pointing dogs. Left marsh scene depicts 4 flying mallards. Scenes are surrounded by vine type foliate scroll & punch dot backgrounds that continue to front portions of receiver & receiver extension. Beavertail forearm & straight comb trap dimension Y series stock of fancy gloss finished walnut with stamped metal grip cap & 3 diamond style cut checkering. LOP: 14 1/2" over original Winchester red ventilated pad. Mfg. 1961. 12 Gauge
