NSN, made in 1853, .69 caliber, 42"" proofed barrel. Metal is a dull white finish that has been lightly cleaned some time ago. Minor handling wear is noted on the stock with cartouche present. Barrel tang and lock are dated 1853, many of these muskets saw service at the beginning of the Civil War.
