Description:
This is a rare find, a Model 39 Marlin Star rifle. These rifles were identified as being exceptional gus and were marked with a star on the end of the upper tang. These guns were considered to by high grade guns and were so marked. This gun is also equiped with a tang sight. The bore is excellent (rare) and the wood has the minimum of scratches and dings. It also retains about 20-25% of the original fading case colors. It has a 24 inch octigon barrel. You do not see these guns very often and especially in this condition.
