There is no storefront, and the business is strictly internet based. Thus, no direct sales. I sell both new & used firearms including handguns, rifles, and shotguns, plus barrels and vintage ammo. The stock changes weekly and only a portion is listed at any one time. I'm a one-person business and I'm often away from my phone so please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. Email is a much easier way to ask questions. NO FIREARM OR AMMO SALES OF ANY TYPE TO CALIFORNIA OR OUTSIDE OF THE USA. Description: OVERALL - Springfield Armory (SA), Post WWII receiver. Stock sanded smooth with glossy finish. The action has been function tested manually but this has not been test fired. RECEIVER - U.S. Rifle, Cal. 30 M1, Springfield Armory with 7 digit serial number 5,401,XXX which by my searching indicates a Post WWII manufacturing with year unknown. BOLT - Springfield Armory (SA) bolt stamped as "6528287-SA A14". BARREL - Unknown barrel manufacturer with date of August 1954 ("8 54" barrel stamp). With inspection using a bore light the bore is bright with with good visible rifling. Used gauges to measure the muzzle erosion (ME) and throat erosion (TE). The ME was measured as 0.15" on a scale of 0 - 0.30" with zero being the least amount of erosion. I believe that would equate to a value of "1.5" for CMP type reporting. The TE measured as 5 (0.50") on a scale of 1 - 9 with one being the least amount of erosion. TRIGGER GROUP - No manufacturer's name observed externally. Please don't request disassembly as I do not provide that service. STOCK - Stock appears to have been heavily sanded to a very smooth surface prior to be refinished with a glossy type finish. Note that the steel butt plate is now "proud" to the stock after it was sanded. Due both the age of this firearm and its collectibility, I will accept a C&R license with one requirement. You must also provide a clear copy of your state driver's license. That serves as a verification for the C&R license. Note that shipping is higher than normal for this rifle due both to the weight and the box size. I add extra packing material around the op-rod to prevent side impact damage and thus the shipping box is wider than I normally use for standard types of rifles. Local pickup is allowed but only after payment has been received and cleared. Not for sale to California. Please add $75.00 for shipping & insurance. Shipping to either Alaska or Hawaii must be quoted. Sales tax rate of 7.25% collected for anything shipped within Texas. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Rifle Caliber: .30-06 Springfield |
