Description:
Ruger Model 77 bolt action rifle in 30-06 caliber and having a Mauser, claw type bolt action and the older tang style safety. Barrel length is 22", the rear sight has been removed, but has the front ramp type sight. Integral scope base built into the receiver and an older Tasco 4x-12x scope installed which has clear optics. Polished blued receiver and barrel; checkered wooden stock; jeweled bolt body; sling swivel studs; Ruger solid, red rubber recoil pad; hinged magazine floor plate; shipped approximately 1984-1985 as per the Ruger . Comes with a foldable, bipod of unknown make as shown in the photos. That bipod is easily removable.
This is a used rifle of approximately 38 to 39 years of age and it has apparently been hunted. Scrapes, dings and scratches on the stock. Scratches to the bluing. The bore is bright and clean with good visible rifling as observed by my bore light. The action is smooth and seems to function properly with loading & ejecting 150 grain dummy rounds. However, this has not been test fired.
