Description:
Weatherby Mark V, bolt action rifle in the 270 Weatherby Magnum caliber with a 24" barrel plus 2" Accubrake (26" total length). Polished blued barrel and receiver. Black synthetic, Monte Carlo type stock with Weatherby recoil pad and sling swivel studs installed. No iron sights but has a two-piece, Buehler scope base installed. Produced in Japan between 1972 to 1994 as per the "H" serial number prefix. The last three digits on the bolt handle match that on the receiver. Comes with a Weatherby rifle box as was used during that time period for their Mark V rifles; however, there is no end label on that box. Nothing else inside the box. A previous owner had the drop-down magazine floor plate custom engraved with their initials "RGA". Weight is approximately 7 lbs, 9 oz.
This rifle is "Used" with minor overall wear as shown in the photos. The action is smooth plus the bore is bright and clean with good visible rifling as observed with a bore light; however, this has not been test fired.
