Hi Standard 104 Series Supermatic CItation .22LR Pistol with 5 1/2" barrel, correct checkered wooden grips with thumb rest. Most of the blue wear is at muzzle, which is where I assumed a High Standard muzzle break had been installed (it is a simple clamp on mount-no gunsmithing required). Hamden CT made of course, as were all 104 series pistols. Peak (in my opinion) period of High Standard Quality. One correct Hi Standard marked magazine. Very nice example.
