Description:
This is a Reproduction model 1777 French Charlsville Musket. It is a 69 Cal. Smoothbore with a 44 3/4 inch Steel barrel.The lockplate is marked with the ST. Etienne arsonal markings. It has a Brass frizzen pan and a case hardened steel frizzen cover that will throw plenty of sparks and reduce misfires. The gun has the correct cheek piece cut into the stock and the trigger guard has the finger ridges of the origionals. Overall length of the musket is 60 inches. We put the weapon in firing condition and tweak the springs, then we test fire the gun with a charge of 70 grains of AA Pyrodex and a 69 Cal patched ball. This is not the highest quaility musket on the market, but it is very serviceable as a Reenactors weapon, without the high cost of the custom guns. Shipping is $45.00 to most states with Alaska, California, Haiwii, Oregon and Washington paying $65.00 for shipping. Money back if not satisfied with the buyer paying the return shipping.
