Got a Colt Lightning .32 Cal. .32-20 Wcf Pump, Slide Action Rifle - 1890's Antique
The barrel is marked "Colt's PT. F. A. Mfg. Co. Hartford CT. U.S.A. / Patented May 29 Sept 18 83 May 26 85 June 15 86 Feb 22 87" and "32 Cal.". The serial number is on the lower tang. This rifle is mounted with a dovetail set front blade sight and a dovetail set rear leaf and elevator sight, with elevator present.
This Rifle IS original NOT not a reproduction.
The pictures show condition as best we can. We tried to get pictures of every flaw, mark, ding, makers mark or whatever we could find. We placed a tape measure on it for barrel length and whatever.
This came from the estate of an FFL/SOT Gun Smith, Gun Store that is out of business. This is or was inventory. The estate also was an avid collector of all types. Please check the pictures to check condition. There will be countless other listings from this inventory over the next 4 to 5 years. We are selling for the store. This is NOT a liquidation. There are no lists and will be no lists. Just keep checking the other listings
