NSN, circa 1827-1834, .69 caliber, 42"" round smooth bore proofed barrel. Barrel is a light grey patina with pin-prick areas of surface oxidation. Barrel tang is dated 1834, lock plated is dated 1827. Stock shows expected usage and handling marks, faint cartouche is present. Action holds at half and full cock.
