Description:
"Made circa 1750. 1 ½" bore with a 9" barrel. Very fine large example of a Migulet blunderbuss pistol. This gun is in the classic ripol style. The wood has extensive brass inlays that consists of scrolls with birds, flowers and along with grotesque faces. Small brass tacks also adorn the wood. We believe this gun has a chance of being Mexican because of the themes of the inlays that we have seen on other Mexican Ripol style guns The lock is engraved and the Frizzen is marked “Sn HCER" There is a name on the top of the barrel, but it is illegible.
