"Serial number 1403. Made in 1861. 44 Caliber with a 8" barrel. Absolutely beautiful gun with 90% of the original blue on the barrel, bright case colors on the frame, 85% of the original blue on the cylinder and 95% of the original silver on the back strap and trigger guard. Grips are excellent. This gun is listed in the Rhode Island Historical Society as being issued to Elisha Whitford of the 1st Rhode Island Cavalry. A packet of Documentation accompanies this gun along with a Colt factory letter.
