ON APRIL 24TH 2006 GREGG MARTIN S SOLD A CASED EXAMPLE SN 1387 OF THIS EXACT MODEL FOR $3972.50! THERE WERE FAR LESS OF THESE MADE THAN THE PERCUSSION MODELS. THIS EXAMPLE IS SN 697 AND IS NUMBERED ON THE BASE OF THE GRIP FRAME, UNDER THE RAM ROD ON THE BARREL, AND EACH WALNUT GRIP BEARS THE THREE DIGET SERIAL NUMBER. SMOOTH METAL SURFACES HAVE ORIGINAL BLUE FINISH THAT HAS TONED TO A SMOKEY GRAY COLOR. HAMMER & TRIGGER SHOW MUTED ORIGINAL CASE COLORS WITH TOP MOUNTED CYLINDER STOP SHOWING STRONG FIRE BLUE.  CYLINDER MARKINGS "WARNERS PATENT 1857" ARE CRISP & CLEAR. ACTION IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL, TIMES WELL WITH SNUG CYLINDER LOCKUP. THIS MODEL WARNER IS AN ORIGINAL CARTRIDGE REVOLVER AND NOT A CONVERSION FROM PERCUSSION.
