SALE PENDING - This is an excellent example of the revolver that evolved into the Colt Python. It has the same smooth action, frame and grip as the python. The top strap and barrel separate this gun from the python. There is slight sharp edge wear at the muzzle and a very faint cylinder ring. A period Bushnell Bantam scope had been fitted by a previous owner. The scope has been removed and the one mounting hole in the top-strap has been plugged. The scope mount left two scuffs on the top-strap forward of the rear sight. This is presented in the listing photos. The deep, blue finish is excellent - outside of the scope issue, overall condition of the gun and grips is estimated at 95-97%. The scope, mount and Pachmayr presentation grip will be shipped with this gun. Scope optics are like new. The box & documents are unavailable. This revolver would make a great collector item or shooter if preferred. The last photo shows the gun before the scope was removed.
