Antique 1877 Colt Thunderer double action revolver chambered in .41 Colt. Original Blued finish has turn to a Plum and Brown patina with its 146 years since it left the Hartford Ct. factory. Roll marks crisp and legible. Double action function works well on revolver as intended but in single action mode the hammer is intermittent to hold rearmost cocked position. Numbers on frame, trigger guard and butt match. Birdshead Grips are original and in good condition. Gun could be made a good shooter with thorough cleaning, or enjoyed in your collection as is. Antique pre 1899 firearm can be shipped direct with no FFL transfer.
