Description:
This Browning B78 shows the receiver was manufactured in 1975 and was subsequently customized into the fine rifle presented here in .219 Zipper. The .219 Zipper was created by Winchester in 1937 and is a .30-30 cartridge necked down to .22 caliber. Because it was developed for lever action tubular magazines, it was prohibited from using pointed bullets, which caused accuracy to suffer at longer ranges. Since this is a falling block single shot rifle, spitzer bullets will work well. .219 Zipper
