Description:
This is an early Colt SAA revolver with desirable 5 1/2" barrel and eagle grips. The gun was shipped to St Louis in 1883. Its all original and correct, with traces of original nickel present and mostly smooth patina remaining on the metal. Grips are original and show quite a bit of wear consistent with the overall appearance of the gun. All markings are crisp and legible, action is excellent with all notches present on the hammer. Bore is clean and shiny with strong rifling, no rust or pitting. No license needed to buy except NJ residents. As I list this gun I relize today is Feb 10, the gun was shipped to St. Louis EXACTLY 140 years ago.
