Description:
Nice Winchester model 1873 made in 1890. It has the standard 24" octagon barrel. It's chambered in the 38 WCF (38-40) cartridge and has a gray bore with good, strong rifling. Metyal is good with plenty of finish remaining. Wood is good with a repair of a chip on the left side of the forend as shown in the photos. I apologize for some unfocused appearing pictures. Raining and overcast in Washington (what a surprise). All around a nice example with loads of finish. Function and cycling are smooth. On sale in our shop until bought here. Please know your laws regarding antique firearms, as some states make us ship to an FFL.
