Remington 721 in .270. I see nothing to indicate this from being an all original first production run gun. Barrel Date code EUU which from tables I see is October 1949. Early ones were said to be rushed to production wo checkering to stock. This has no checkering and obvious that it is origional to gun. Correct Remington metal butt plate, original sights, bolt serial number matches. Bore and crown both look extremely nice. Action very slick, trigger is excellent +. You could buy a new piece of crap or own THIS from a time when they cared! If there is a detail or area I have missed with a photo, JUST ASK. THANK YOU
