Description:
Winchester Model 43 in .218 Bee. These centerfire bolt action rifles were produced between May 1948 through December 1953. It has a hooded fixed ramp front sight and is drilled and tapped for a scope base. The Walnut stock has a checkered metal butt plate and studs and sling swivels. In terms of relative performance, the .218 Bee falls between the smaller .22 Hornet and the .223 Remington. It is a very effective cartridge for small to medium varmints out to about 200 yards.
