Description:
This is a Colt Police Positive Revolver, manufactured in 1921 and chambered in .38 caliber. The gun is all matching and comes with a period-correct box that is not matching - the box is fairly torn along the edges. The gun itself has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish with areas of light spotty wear around the muzzle, along the barrel, on the left side of the frame, and on the cylinder. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation throughout (most noticeable on the right side of the frame) and brown patina on both grip straps. Comes with very nice blackish-brown grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
